Rules & Regulations
The following rules are intended to maintain discipline, academic excellence, regularity and a respectful learning environment within the college. Students are expected to follow the rules of the college as well as the applicable rules, ordinances and guidelines of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University (MDSU), Ajmer.
1. Attendance
Students are required to maintain regular attendance in all classes. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory, subject to the applicable University rules and provisions.
2. Discipline
Students must maintain proper discipline and respectful behaviour towards teachers, staff and fellow students. Any act of misconduct or indiscipline may invite appropriate action as per college and University regulations.
3. Academic Conduct
Students are expected to attend classes regularly, complete assignments and participate sincerely in academic activities. They must follow the prescribed curriculum, examination rules and academic instructions.
4. Examination Rules
Students must follow all instructions issued by the college and MDSU regarding examinations. Unfair means, cheating or any form of examination malpractice will be dealt with according to the applicable rules and regulations.
5. College Identity Card
Students should carry their valid college identity card while on the college campus and produce it whenever required by the college authorities.
6. Campus Behaviour
Students should maintain cleanliness and take proper care of college property, classrooms, laboratories, library resources and other facilities. Damage to college property may result in appropriate disciplinary action.
7. Anti-Ragging
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Students must maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment on the college campus. Any complaint related to ragging will be dealt with according to applicable University and statutory regulations.
8. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices
Students should use mobile phones and other electronic devices responsibly and only as permitted by the college. Their use during classes, examinations or other restricted activities may be prohibited.
9. Leave & Absence
Students who are unable to attend classes due to valid reasons should inform the concerned authority and follow the prescribed leave procedure. Attendance requirements continue to apply as per University rules.
10. Compliance with University Rules
All students must comply with the rules, ordinances, notifications and academic regulations issued by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer, wherever applicable. The college may update its rules from time to time in accordance with University or government directions.
